Perhaps marriage or civil partnership is not for you at this time, yet you would like to confirm to each other in the presence of your wider family and friends, the love and gratitude you share. Through a commitment ceremony, we can enable this.
A commitment ceremony can include everything that a legally binding marriage or civil partnership may include, with the exception of the vows prescribed by law or signing of the marriage or civil partnership certificate. You will have pledged your commitment to each other, but not be recognised as legally married or in a civil partnership.
You may prefer a ceremony that is far less like a legally binding wedding and want to keep it short and sweet, not being centre stage in front of your family and friends.
